Whilst in lock-down, Val (W) has been busy rearranging the poppies that we made last autumn.
Originally they were put on quite quickly and when they got the poppy display out for VE day commemorations some had fallen off and it didn't look at it's best.
All the poppies have been re-attached and placed in an attractive display.
If you scroll down to November 2019 you will see the original display.
I think you have to agree Val has done a super job.

WI Future Questionnaire - https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/our-wi-our-future
Super fast Broadband for Kettleshulme - The community has the opportunity to work with BT to bring superfast broadband to the village. In order to do this, we need to gather names, addresses and telephone numbers of people within the community who support the project. This doesn’t commit anyone to anything, it just provides evidence that the community is behind the idea. The more people that we can get to support it, the less it will cost (due to the way BT work out their costing).
The way the funding will work is that there is an amount of funding provided specifically because we have a school. We also have a number of houses who get very little internet coverage. Each one of these gets an additional grant of £350 towards the project, but only if we can get supporters registered before the end of March. After that, the residual costs will be split, BT will pay half and the community will have to raise the rest. We don’t know yet how much this will be.
You can find further information on BT’s website http://www.communityfibre.bt.com/#home
You can also check your internet speed here: http://www.speedtest.net/
If you are willing to support this project, would you send your name, address and phone number to cl[email protected] so that it can be recorded
